Pentecostals – Scary Sarah!
September 9, 2008 at 10:25 pm | Posted in 1 | 8 CommentsSarah Palin is pentecostal. The McCain lot will probably try and lie about that, or distort it, but she’s pentecostal. Just like Jerry Falwell, John Hagee, Jim Bakker and John Ashcroft. Madame Palin attended an Assembly of God church most of her church-going life. She doesn’t acknowledge being pentecostal anymore, because it isn’t politically expediant.
Pentecostals are psycho. I know, I was raised as one. Biblical literalists, they don’t believe in science or reason. It’s all about the rapture and the “End Times”, the second coming and the Anti-christ. If normal, reasonable people knew what they are in store for by voting for a pentecostal, they would never do it.
The pentecostals I grew up with were extremely racist, homophobic, bigoted people. They are hypocrites by design. They’ll seem very nice…just don’t cross them. They are wolves in sheeps clothing.
Do some research, America, before voting. Voting for a pentecostal is voting for ignorance and stupidity. Am I picking on this religion? You’re damn right. Sure, people can believe what they want. But this extreme sect of Christianity is analogous to Islamic fundamentalists who blow themselves up. Pentecostals, though, would never have the balls to harm themselves…just other people. Like when they murder doctors who perform legal abortions.
Sarah’s church also has an “ex-gay ministry”. There’s so much and yet so little to say to say about that sort of lunacy. It destroys lives.
And that’s my rant on pentecostals. If people just knew…the 2008 Presidential race wouldn’t even be close. I think McCain has screwed himself good by choosing this nutty whack-job as a running mate.

I am no fan of Palin at all. Just simply a VP that could be President in a second that has almost no political experience, a bad record on the little experience she has, and she has no national nor especially international experience at all. Check out her handling of budget just as a Mayor, then Governor, her out of control spending and record deficits would make the current mr. bush look responsible. Then there is the religious stuff. Yes….I am a Democrat and a BIG supporter of our future President Obama! But anyone even thinking of the McCain ticket with this VP pick needs to really look at what she could bring.

my cousins in Alaska tell me it is one of the highest taxed states they know, so much for republican values.

Wow, you sure have some baggage! Declaring that all Pentecostals are I quote: “extremely racist, homophobic, bigoted people. They are hypocrites by design….. stupid, ignorant…” is way over the top. This vitriolic comment says volumes about the man who wrote it. Check this blog, that might open your eyes to the Pentecostals I know:

Well, Jocelyne, I didn’t say “all” Pentecostals, I specififed “the Pentecostals I grew up with”. And believe me, they were and I’m sure still are racist, bigoted and homophobic.
I did take a look at the “Hiv Pentecostals” blog, and frankly it’s embarrassing. I enjoyed your comment: “I do not have HIV or Aids, never did drugs or whatever but still was a sinner & needed salvation. I am Juish & praised God I found it (salvation) in Jesus the Messiah.” Do I really need to say anymore about ignorance and stupidity? You’re jewish and you don’t know how to spell it? C’mon.

Ok I had to do it..I went to the link. Her comment there is not worth a response from me, But I will respond to you CW here. Frankly she is not worth the energy. If she finds your blog through a poor search of hers, and then reads it, and then responds, AND adds it to her comment on the other blog…Honey that is baggage! (pot, meet kettle) I can only say CW…be glad you are who you are and NOT her.

How is the HIV Pentecostals blog embarrassing to you? The Pentecostal Church has changed some since when you were growing up. I grew up in it and know what it like then and I’m back in it now and it is a totally different attitude. Are you embarrassed about it because a couple of us were active in the gay lifestyle and no longer aren’t. I’m happy now with my life! I was totally out and by guessing where in the gay community you identify with by your screen name I was there myself. I went through the whole tina epidemic in the community which took three very close friends..all three very successful but on the weekend they geared up and PnPed…I’m done with it and am happy with my choice. Be careful of judging everyone on one person response to your blog. I’m sorry you had a bad experience with pentecostals growing up but don’t judge me harshly because I chose to leave the gay lifestyle , in paticular the leather community because I’m not here to judge you…thats between you and God
I wish you well

Yes, John, the Pentecostal church sure has changed. Didn’t used to be so political. Used to be a place that welcomed people in. Used to be full of people who were “in the world, but not of the world”. Now it’s full of people who want to destroy lives by their actions at the ballot box, stand on the street and shout at people, etc. I’m embarrassed for anyone who thinks being gay is a “choice” and something they can just walk away from. I’m sad for people full of self-loathing who foolishly think they need to change who they naturally are. There are NO ex-gays. You’re kidding yourself if you think you aren’t gay anymore. We’re born that way, man. You don’t have to live in “the gay lifestyle”, but you will always be gay. No matter what. Always, John, always. Until the day you die.
Hope you come to your senses!
You can rollick and roll in the aisles and raise your hands and get caught up in the emotions brought on by music and words and the mass-hysteria that is a church “worship service”, but I have to come to realize…it’s all theater. It’s manipulation. It’s the idea that if my neighbor in the pew next to me is having some sort of spiritual experience, manifested by an emotional outburst…I’d better too, or they may not think I’m not “saved”. And maybe I might think that same thing of myself!
It’s theater, man. It’s emotional manipulation. Music and hollering. I know whereof I speak, I have been on staff at churchs and in on the planning of worship services, and I know how it is all laid out and meant to cause certain reactions in people.
It’s silliness, and it’s dangerous. It’s Christian radical fundamentalism, no different than Islamic radical fundamentalism. They blow themselves up in the name of Allah, Christians fundamentalists bomb abortion clinics and murder doctors in cold blood and torment families by picketing funerals of loved ones in the name of Jesus.
I’m not sure if you’re claiming to be an “ex-gay” or not, but I hope not. That’s so sad. As for as a Pentecostal church goes, theater is great; but not when people think its real.

Yes, everything you wrote about Pentecostals is true. I grew up in a similar household. Actually, I found your site through google by typing “Pentecostals hypocrites”. I have an entry on my blog as to why I could no longer go to a Pentecostal church. 9-11 did it for me.
